​A born storyteller, I knew I wanted to be a director and a writer since I was 8 years old, and I’ve been learning-by-doing both of those, in different forms, ever since. I would argue that they are my biggest talents, bar none. 

Along the way, however, I also realized that my innate ability to organize things and people wasn’t that common, especially in my artistic circles, which resulted in me producing, UPM-ing, AD-ing, stage managing, and other-organizing across various industries, from running Broadway musicals and large movie sets, to organizing people’s lives and closets. 

Speaking of closets, another quality that comes effortlessly to me is a sense of style / an eye for fashion. I know in my gut what color/pattern/shape goes with what, and love a few things more than creating fun outfits and cool interior designs. I’ve been an avid thrifter for years (way before it was trendy), and I’ve often found treasures where others saw only trash. 

Finally, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery for the past 14 years, deeply influenced by philosophy, mindfulness, and daily Vedic meditation. While I firmly believe that each of us can grow and heal only by walking our individual paths ourselves, I've also discovered that a lot of what I’ve learned along the way can be very helpful to others. Over the years, I’ve found myself being a mentor / spiritual advisor / wise woman / what-have-you, to friends and strangers, and have found much joy in helping them get through life’s hurdles. 

So, while I steadily pursue my dreams of Oscars and making a difference through the stories I tell, I thought I’d offer some of these other talents as a way to both serve the community, and fulfill my ikigai.
